I purchased Tenchu 2: Birth of the Stealth Assassins because I had already played Tenchu 1 quite extensively. As Tenchu 1 was a great game, I knew Tenchu 2 would also be a great game.

Tenchu 2 has more options than the first one. One of my favorites is the Level Editor, it's easy to use and you can create fun levels to challenge your friend's 'ninja skillz'. There are two characters to choose from and each is unique. Both are very fun to play with. You can even enter the story from another character's perspective and fight against your other characters, which is all part of the plot.

You can lose track of time playing this game easily, it's story line consumes you and you become part of the Azuma ninja clan. The story line was excellent and well thought up. This game has a certain quality that comes with legendary games. There are many unoriginal and copycat games out there today, and the Tenchu games are not. The Tenchu series is totally original and opens up a whole new world to the gamer, a whole new time, when Samurai and Ninja were alive.

I would highly recommend this game over others today, it's original and easy to play, but at the same time challenging. I would recommend both Tenchu games to anyone. They are, by far, two of the best games to come out on Playstation.
