Pros: Sharp, Fast, Great Image stabilization, Pro Lens Cons: Price always high for L lenses Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM: Great investment.
Pros: Low dispersion glass, constant aperture, corner sharpness, Image Stabilization, universal zoom range Cons: Expensive, moderately fast with f/4 (for sports), can be a bit heavy Bottom Line: The perfect lens for the canon Eos 5D
Pros: Ideal zoom range, excellent image quality & image stabilization. Perfect for the Eos 5D. Cons: Only suggestion, build it from Titanium for lighter weight, it is a bit front heavy. Bottom Line: Highly versatile L-lens
Pros: Clarity, Color, Superfast focusing with USM, weight, image stabilizer Cons: Price (for an F/4), Flexible case which doesn't provide much protection Bottom Line: Perfect walk-around lens
